  1. Make a class list of famous creative people. In what way are / were they creative?
  2. Read the descriptions above of three creative teenagers. In what way are they

    creative?

    Matt’s school needed money to buy new shirts for the school soccer team. I wrote to all the best Spanish soccer teams, he told us. It was a lot of work, but I knew it was a good idea. One team sent us 10 tickets for an important game. We sold them for a lot of money.

   Terri told stories to her little brother when she was a child. Later she wrote them on her computer and put them on the internet. Today she writes short stories for an internet magazine and enjoys thinking of new stories. I spend a lot of time on my writing, she says. I want it to be good.

    Jan loves cooking. One day I got a cookbook and made dinner, he remembers. Now I can make a lot things. Jan looks at recipes on the internet and tries his own ideas. Sometimes things go wrong, but that’s how you learn. It isn’t always easy.

    Create a story. Include these words:

  Reflection point

  Everyone can be creative in big or small ways. You can make something, do something     

  in a different way, or wave a new idea. Work hard to make your ideas real.

    I made a poster for a school party.
